Position Summary:
Leader of the growth strategy for the assigned market(s) and region with responsibility for execution related to improvement in payer mix, increase in market share, and expansion of the care continuum.

Essential Job Duties:
Lead the decision making and implementation of dynamic market strategies for assigned markets – to include identification of new products and service lines and payer opportunities.
Lead the strategy to optimize payer mix in the assigned region through the development of new products and services, the deployment of business development resources via payer mapping, and development of payer relationships in the local market.
Coordinate with corporate support departments to obtain and analyze both internal and external data to inform decisions about strategic growth strategies.
Maintain an up-to-date service inventory for each assigned market for continual evaluation of growth opportunities.
Work with Mental Health Outcomes to ensure the competitive database for assigned markets is up to date and current (for all levels of care).
Co-supervise the facility-based DBDs in the assigned region and work collaboratively with the facility CEO on recruitment, on-boarding, training, and retention activities for all members of the business development team.
Collaborate with facility and corporate partners on facility specific and market wide strategies.
Provide excellent communication both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree Required

Experience:
5-8 years of business development, marketing, sales or equivalent experience required.

Required Knowledge:
Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and deadlines. Proficient in PC software (i.e. Microsoft Office).
Bi-weekly travel required.
